NRH ARC to Support CERT Field Day

The North Richland Hills Amateur Radio Club is actively supporting the NRH Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) during their Field Day by participating as victims for response exercises. This hands-on participation helps CERT members refine their skills in realistic scenarios and shows the club’s commitment to the community.

In addition to CERT support, NRH ARC will participate in the Texas QSO Party, an event where amateur radio operators contact as many other operators as possible. This contest allows NRH ARC members to demonstrate amateur radio capabilities to prospective new hams from the CERT team and serves as an educational experience for those interested in obtaining an amateur radio license.

By helping prepare the CERT team for emergencies and demonstrating amateur radio capabilities, the NRH ARC contributes to community preparedness and inspires the next generation of hams.
