The NRH Office of Emergency Management invites you to the NRH Amateur Radio Club’s annual Field Day exercise on June 27 and 28. Activities will be held at NRH Fire and Police Training Center located at 7202 Dick Fisher Dr. N, behind the Animal Adoption & Rescue Center starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday and continuing to 1 p.m. on Sunday. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Amateur Radio, which is sometimes called “ham radio,” allows people to experiment with electronics and communications techniques, as well as provide a free public service to their communities during a disaster, all without needing a cell phone or the internet. The Field Day demonstrates ham radio’s ability to work reliably under any conditions from almost any location and create an independent communications network. Find more information at www.K5NRH.com or by calling 817-454-4410.

The North Richland Hills Amateur Radio Club held the 2026 Annual Holiday Party on 9 February 2026 after being rescheduled due to the severe winter weather storm in January. The party was held at spring Creek in Keller.
We enjoyed a great time spent with friends and family and some excellent Bar B Que, along with some exciting raffle prizes including An Inovato Quarda4K (won by this lucky HAM), and a Gift Card for HRO among other prizes.
A special thank you to everyone who attended, for making this a wonderful time for our Club.
