The NRH Office of Emergency Management invites you to the NRH Amateur Radio Club’s annual Field Day exercise on June 24th and 25th. Activities will be held at NRH Fire and Police Training Center located at 7202 Dick Fisher Dr. N, behind the Animal Adoption Center starting at 1:00 pm on Saturday and continuing to 1:00 pm on Sunday. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Amateur Radio, which is sometimes called “ham radio,” allows people to experiment with electronics and communication techniques, as well as provide a free public service to their communities during a disaster, all without needing a cell phone or the Internet. The Field Day demonstrates ham radio’s ability to work reliably under any conditions from almost any location and create an independent communications network. Find more information at K5NRH.COM or by calling 817-454-4410.

Hello all
Welcome to our new K5NRH.COM WordPress site. We are working to get this setup and I need help from you all. All the data i have right now is from the old site , WWW.NRHARC.ORG, and I know that it needs to be updated. Please take a look at what we have added. Right now there are a number of empty pages but I will be adding items to them as I go. If you find information on a page please take a look at it and let me know if you find any issues or things that need to be update / removed.
Feel free to write up something that I can just copy and paste. If you have an idea(s) for a page or have seen on the web you like this works also.
Please send these emails to ADMIN@K5NRH.COM
