Bio:

I became a Ham Radio Novice at 14, then got my General at 15, and earned my Amateur Extra in January 1994. I worked in the electronics Industry for many years; Primarily at: – Fairchild Semiconductor as Technician/Supervisor/Field Engineer, Remington Rand Univac as Field Engineer, CMX Editing as Director if Field Service and training, Far East Marketing Manager, Sony Broadcast as US Product Manager, and Staff Engineer at Daystar Television Network presently.

Why You Joined The Club:

I joined as the club was formed. It was the first and only Ham Club in North Richland Hills, and wanted to enjoy the various activities I knew our club would be hosting.

Favorite Aspect of Radio:

Radio Antennas; Mostly Magnetic Loop construction, experimenting with HF type antennas. Working Remotely from my iPad to control my Icom 705 Station.

Favorite Band/Frequency: All HF bands including Digital, RTTY, CW

Favorite Radio Mode (e.g., FM, AM, SSB): SSB

Favorite Radio Equipment: Icom 705, Icom 7300, Yeasu FT891

Other Hobbies: Ham Radio is far and away enough, but AI experimentation is very interesting.

Ham Radio is not only a hobby, it can be used to develop a person’s interest into an entire range of electronic endeavors that can be very rewarding and profitable jobs.
